NEPA Good Report Card Freebies

Many kids display report cards on the fridge, in a frame or in a scrapbook, but before tucking away those good grades why not cash in on some of the rewards from local businesses. As always, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure that your location is participating in the rewards programs.

FNCB rewarding Simply Smart students

The First National Community Bank is rewarding students for good grades. The Simply Smart program rewards students with $1 for every A or number grade above 90% on their report card every marking period.

Participation is simple and easy. Starting with the current marking period, students need to bring their report card to any of the 21 FNCB branches in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe and Wayne counties. The reward amount will then be deposited into their new or existing interest-bearing youth savings account.

Uno Chicago Grill offers elementary through middle school aged kids an opportunity to make their own pizza for free. Bring in your report card showing any type of improvement to create a personalized pizza.

Pizza Hut offers a reward each marking period. any child who has 3 A’s or the equivalent thereof, will receive one Personal Pan Pizza and a small soft drink or carton of milk by presenting his or her report card to the manager. This offer is good for Elementary and Middle School students. Dine-in only. Student must be present and the original report card must be presented.

Just in case you pass by the “golden arches” then head to our America’s favorite place, where everyone is a kid, Chuck E. Cheese. Chuck E. Cheese. Chuck E. Cheese believes in the value of a good education. Have your child bring in their most recent report card and they will receive FREE tokens for good grades.

Krispy Kreme NEPA also offers rewards for good grades. Get a free donut for each A (up to 6 A’s).

Don’t wait too long because most places won’t honor the rewards after 30 days post report card date. It really does pay to get good grades.
